BreatheQuotes: Be Irreplaceable

Hey lovely readers! We live in a society where we all tend to want to be like everyone else. Either trying to fit in with the popular crowd in school or trying to be super skinny like a celebrity, most of us have done something to blend in and not be different. I remember during my teenager years, I cared so much about what people thought of me. I just wanted to be like everyone else and not feel different. Through time and as I have matured, I realized that that’s not the way to live and learned to accept myself for who I am. People’s thoughts about me are not my biggest concerns anymore. As I was reading a bunch of quotes the other day, I came across this quote that I had to share with you all:

“In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.”

When I first laid my eyes on this quote, I just read right through it and went on to the next. However, after a second of processing it, I went back to it and read it again. There are many quotes out there that convey the meaning of being you; however, this one was different, its meaning really stuck with me. Being different should not be viewed as scary, an outsider, imperfect, or rebellious. It should be viewed as unique and special, making you irreplaceable! So if you ever have a moment when you feel different, always remember that that is what’s making you irreplaceable! Who would want to be replaced, right! This quote made me smile and I hope it did the same with you :) At the end of the day, always remember to stay true to yourself and true to your heart!
