Simple Tip: Moisturized Lips

Hi lovely beauties! One of my holy-grail beauty products that I cannot live without would have to be a lip balm. I hate the feel and look of chapped lips! Chapped lips make your lips appear lifeless and your face appear pale, dull, and unattractive. For me, moisturizing my lips is so important; however, many people tend to overlook it. As a busy college student always feeling that there are not enough hours in a day, I understand how easy it is to forget to moisturize your lips. A simple solution I found that works for me is keeping a lip balm everywhere where I know I will need it. This includes one next to my bed, another in my makeup bag, and another in my purse/book bag. Having a lip balm everywhere I go will always remind me to hydrate my lips and keep them healthy!
One of my ultimate beauty secrets to getting radiant lips is applying a lip balm under your lip-gloss/lipstick. I do this every single time I apply any lip product on my lips. This makes a huge difference on how my lips feel and look throughout the day. Your lips would look a million times better and your lip product will even last longer. Lip-glosses would not feel as sticky and will glide on much smoother. Your lip balm would make your lips have a smooth, soft canvas for whatever you decide to apply on your lips. It also seals in as an all-day coat of moisture! This simple step to incorporate in your makeup routine will make a significant difference on the appearance and feeling of your lips. Ever since I started doing this, it has been a step I could never skip. I hope you found these simple tips on moisturizing your lips helpful and are looking forward to more simple tip posts :)

  1. I ALWAYS wear some form of lip balm to bed. Since I frequently forget my chapstick somewhere, leaving one on my nightstand allows me to always have them moisturized when I wake up in the morning.

  3. I always wear lip balm too! I have them everywhere, just like you. I find that a tinted lip balm goes a long way too, especially if you are go, go, go all day. I'm loving Fresh Sugar lipbalm in Rose. Its a little pricey but this stuff is AMAZING and leaves such a subtle color on your lips.

  5. Keeping my lips soft involves two amazing products! The first is the Sweet Lips lip scrub from LUSH! It's really yummy and it exfoliates like no other product I've used! The second is the Rose Salve from C.O Bigelow that I picked up from Bath & Body Works! Using those two on a consistent basis does the trick!

    Great post!

  7. I use jose maran argan oil lip treatment & also coconut oil. I use an old lipgloss tube 2 put in the coconut oil in case it gets melted it wont spill everywhere. Perfect on the go moisturizer. Last forever on the lips, smells great & edible & healthy for you too.
